Juanita High School (JHS) Social studies teacher Leia Deak has been incredibly impressed with her civics students recently. A group of her students presented in front of the Kirkland City Planning Commission on housing affordability in the Kirkland area.
Twenty-five students were recognized for their artwork in many categories during this year’s Washington State PTA (WSPTA) Reflections contest.
Several Lake Washington School District students came home with an award after the 2023 Washington State Science and Engineering Fair (WSSEF).
One-hundred and twenty-two LWSD students placed high enough at the DECA State Career Development Conference event to qualify for a spot at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Fla., April 22-25.
