Fight Song

Let’s fight and win for our Juanita High,

Red, White, and Blue, in victory,

We’ll win this game, - just wait and see,

And it will be our glory.

Fight for the fame of our Juanita High,

We won’t let victory pass by,

Rebels Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight,

On to victory!

R-E-B-E-L-S, Rebels, Rebels, Go Rebels.

Fight for the fame of our Juanita High.

We won’t let this victory pass us by.

Rebels Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight,

On to victory!

Fight Song & Alma Mater

History & Crest

Alma Mater

Unto thee our Alma Mater,

We pledge our devotion true.

And to thee our own Juanita,

Our hearts will e’er be true.

The Red to honor living,

The White to honor truth,

The Blue to stand for freedom,

The symbol of our youth.

The Red to honor living,

The White to honor truth,

The Blue to stand for freedom,

The symbol of our youth.

Juanita High first opened its doors in 1971 with students from Lake Washington and Redmond High Schools. These students established our Rebel mascot, and red, white, and blue as our school colors.

A close second to our Juanita Rebel was the Juanita Eagles. The Rebel symbolizes our break from tradition in the same manner as the thirteen colonies broke from England. The eagle was placed above our crest as a compromise for those who wanted the eagle to be our mascot. The mountain is Mt. Rainier; and the water represents Puget Sound and Lake Washington.
