Approximately 75 Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students were finalists or better at this year’s DECA International Career Development Conference.

Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students had another successful showing at this year’s Washington Technology Student Association (TSA) state competition.

Congratulations to Juanita High School (JHS) athletes Arham Mefta and Isaiah Leong for winning the 4A state boys doubles tennis championship this last weekend!

There were nearly 5,000 entries in this year’s Washington State High School Photography Competition (WSHSPC). Of that number, five LWSD students and two teams finished in the top ten in several areas.

First sport to be added since 1999
Redmond, Wash. – On April 21, 2025 the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Representative Assembly officially sanctioned Girls Flag Football. This is the first WIAA sport to be added since Girls Bowling in 1999.
