Video: New Raven Way at Juanita High School

The City of Kirkland unveiled a new street sign at the entrance to Juanita High School on May 29. Raven Way is the new name for the street entering the school. Juanita High School Senior Lizzie Orswell spearheaded the project getting a petition together through the ASB to name the street and presented it to principal Kelly Clapp. After the plan was approved, Orswell took it to the Kirkland City Council. The city was very excited to make the idea a reality and worked hard to ensure the placing of the sign happened before graduation.
